Again, I'll probably do a video next week talking about it. But I think the problem with the Novori quick blades build is that uh team fights don't really last long enough for you to get enough value with Novori quick blades on a frontline tank like Volibear cuz when you're jumping in or when you're trying to do damage to the enemy AD carry, you either need to be a really big tank to try and tank a lot of damage, which of course the Nvari quick blades volleybear build doesn't really do because you're focusing more on damage rather than tankiness. or you need to try and ones on one-shot them and you're not going to oneshot them unfortunately with a very quick blades. So you need these longer team fights which wild rift unfortunately doesn't really do but overall his tank version of the build is still very strong when you jump into the back line it takes a lot a long time for enemies to deal with your damage.

Build divergence notescross-source synthesis

Consensus across both aggregators

  • Keystone: Grasp of the Undying (both)
  • Core items: Heartsteel, Plated Steelcaps, Trinity Force, Hollow Radiance (all four match across both sources)
  • Summoner spells: Flash + Ignite (both)
  • Skill order: differ — Jungler.GG runs Q > W > E, WR Meta runs W > Q > E

Where the aggregators diverge

  • Item differences: Jungler.GG → Unending Despair, Titanic Hydra, Hollow Radiance (items 4-6). WR Meta → Stoneplate Enchant, Unending Despair, Hollow Radiance (items 4-6); Titanic Hydra moves to a situational swap.
  • Late-game flex: WR Meta enumerates an explicit situational pool (Mercury's Treads, Titanic Hydra, Thornmail, Frozen Heart, Randuin's Omen) and a counters list; Jungler.GG publishes one canonical build with no swaps.
  • Skill priority disagreement: Jungler.GG leads Q; WR Meta leads W. Cross-check with a creator VOD before committing.
