  • "If you're playing like bruisers excel on skirmishes, you might go conqueror like lein like a viego or something. But if you want to go full burst viego, then you can go something like empowerment, which is more of a burst rune than conqueror, which likes longer fights. If you're playing something that's snowballs heavy and resets, maybe you want to go dark harvest, right?" (04:47)
  • "MF is a champion that doesn't really have a clear room choice, right? She doesn't have a lot of attack speed, so empowerment doesn't make sense. She's not great at long fights, so conqueror doesn't make sense." (06:55)
  • "Like Ari loves electrocute, right? Um there's champions that just absolutely love certain runes and will always go those runes and like Lucian loves empowerment, right? Like he procs it so easily." (08:07)
  • "Okay. Empowerment. Increased damage against champions." (23:39)
  • "Can I can my champion proc this quickly? The most obvious example of a champion that loves empowerment is Lucian because of his passive, right? Uh, he can just dash in Odak, throw an ability, odak, and he's already procked it. and then he can continue with even the rest of his combo and deal that 9% extra damage. Pantheon. Pantheon is another great example of empowerment. Pantheon can go other runes too, but obviously with his second ability, he does a three quick all attacks. He can proc empowerment. Now, the thing about empowerment is you you think you have to think of it very similar to electrocute in a way. So, it does more base damage with electrocute, but it doesn't have the bonus scaling on AD or AP. Obviously completely different chambers of go electric and empowerment. Electri is more for ability users most of the time while empowerment is more for like all attackers other than pantheon I guess who kind of cheeses it right. So what's cool about empowerment is that it will you will do 9% bonus after you proc it. So you don't want to just build it on champions that can do three quick all attacks and then be done with it. You want to do it on champions that will do the three quick attacks proc empowerment and then do a lot of damage. The main issue that with empowerment is that there just aren't that many champions that do that, right? there's just not that many champions that utilize empowerment that well. It's a it's a very niche rune in that sense." (24:15)
  • "You can have done a quick burst with fleet footwork. Uh, so most ADCs actually don't really like empowerment. They prefer lethal tempo even though it's been nerfed a gazillion times. And then when you nerf lethal tempo gazillion times, they're like, "Okay, fine. I'm going to go fleet footwork or I'm even going to go conqueror, right? I'm not going to go le I'm not going to go empowerment because empowerment is super hard to proc. Uh another I guess example of a champ that can go empowerment even though he usually goes conqueror is Ezreal, right? Because his first ability works with it. So with Ezreal, you can dash in do attack first ability attack bam quickly. Urug is another example. So what you're seeing with empowerment is that the champions that make good use of it are champions that have an easy time procking it. Right?" (25:55)
